About me
A’Keisha Lee is proudly and originally from Lansing, IL. She started organizing in college at the University of Illinois, where she focused on improving enrollment rates for black students and funding for the Black and Afro Studies program. A’Keisha moved to Chicago after completing a Masters in Policy from Saint Louis University. She now works full time in policy, focusing on re-entry and other initiatives that improve conditions for justice involved individuals.
