About me
Elon Nnakwe-Sloan (they/them) is a Black, queer, chronically ill artist and facilitator. Elon is interested in the opportunity artmaking presents for marginalized people to assert their capacity to create knowledge and affect their realities. Elon's facilitation practice is informed by post-colonial epistemology, constructivist pedagogy, and popular education. Elon’s past work experience includes LGBTQIA+ advocacy, sex education, and sexual violence prevention.
