About me
Micah Herskind is an organizer, writer, and law student at Harvard Law School. He is a co-editor of No Cop City, No Cop World: Lessons from the Movement (Haymarket Books, 2025), and has written for outlets including New York Magazine, Scalawag, MSNBC, Teen Vogue, Inquest, and Race & Class. Micah earned his B.A. in Race and Public Policy from Princeton University, and previously worked at the Southern Center for Human Rights and the Federal Public Defender in Atlanta. He currently serves on the boards of the Atlanta Community Support Project and Barred Business. In law school, Micah has interned with the Abolitionist Law Center and Advancement Project, and will be at the Center for Constitutional Rights in summer 2025.
