walda katz-fishman, a scholar activist and professor of sociology at Howard University from 1970 to 2020, was a founding member of Project South: Institute for the Elimination of Poverty & Genocide. She is active in social justice organizations, including the League of Revolutionaries for a New America. walda facilitates political education in revolutionary and movement organizations. She is co-author of the forthcoming book (September 2025, www.ugapress.org ), Motown and the Making of Working-Class Revolutionaries: The Story of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers.
